Symposium H-5
Advancing Materials Science Through Synchrotron Radiation and X-ray Free Electron Lasers

Scope

This symposium serves as a nexus for cutting-edge research on diverse functional materials, leveraging state-of-the-art analytical techniques. The program features dedicated sessions on structural, soft, magnetic, and other notable functional materials, with a primary focus on analytical methodologies utilizing synchrotron radiation and X-ray free electron lasers (XFELs).
By facilitating interdisciplinary cooperation and showcasing the latest advancements in light source technologies, we aim to catalyze groundbreaking discoveries in materials science and engineering.
This symposium will highlight how the unique properties of synchrotron radiation and XFELs, such as high brightness, coherence, and ultrashort pulses, are revolutionizing our understanding of material properties at the atomic and molecular level
