The deadline for symposium proposals has been extended to November 30, 2024.
The Materials Research Society of Japan (MRS-J) is now seeking symposium proposals for the Materials Research Meeting 2025 (MRM2025).
MRM2025 will be held from December 8 to 13, 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama North in Yokohama, Japan.
MRM is the first cross-disciplinary international conference in Japan launched by MRS-J in 2019. It is a platform for high-level discussions on advanced materials research and an opportunity to create synergies among materials researchers and engineers from academia, industry, and research institutions worldwide in materials science. The symposium provides an opportunity to exchange views on the latest achievements, challenges, and future prospects of specific research themes from various perspectives and across disciplines.
The program focuses on the latest advances in materials research at the international level by combining symposia covering the latest achievements in fundamental and interdisciplinary science with symposia addressing themes of application and technology in the field of sustainable development. The technical program of the conference consists of 50 symposia organized into topical categories in both fundamental and applied fields, including
- Fundamentals, Materials Theory, Computing, and Data Science
- Mathematically Informed Condensed Matter Physics
- Electronics, Photonics, and Optics
- Materials Innovations with Materials Informatics
- Novel Structural Materials Based on New Principles
- Nanomaterials and Quantum Materials
- Materials Sciences for Healthcare and Medical Devices
- Soft Materials and Advanced Biomaterials
- Carbon Neutrality and GHG Net Zero Technology
- Green Process, Manufacturing, and Materials Circularity
- Materials for IoT & AI and Smart Systems
- Characterization Science and Technology
- Materials Frontier for DX, GX, and SX
We sincerely look forward to receiving your attractive proposals. Proposals must be submitted via the website by September 30, 2024. November 30,2024
